Looking, saying aloud, listening, and picturing forms
|
Klair realizes that she can get more out of a reading if she goes beyond just looking at the text. She finds it useful to combine her perceptual modes by simultaneously
- looking at the words
- saying them aloud,
- listening to them (as she says them), and
- picturing them mentally.
By doing this, she has the advantage of getting used to the word or form in four different ways, instead of just one. |
