Culture Bibliography
This bibliography is provided as a starting point for those interested in researching issues in culture learning, intercultural communication, and language learning. These subject areas are often researched and written about separately; consequently, there is little in the literature that attempts to combine the subjects and show the interrelatedness between them. What we have provided in the list below are references for some of the foundational literature in each field as well as works which have made connections between the three areas.
For convenience and ease of access, this bibliography is organized in the following sections:
- Culture, intercultural communication, and education
- Culture-specific books
- Language and culture teaching and learning
- Language policy
- Multicultural education and diversity
- Teaching and training resources
- Testing and assessment
