Preparation to Teach Online Survey

Many language teachers are being asked to teach online, K-12 and post-secondary, but there is little known on what preparation these teachers receive in order to develop and teach effectively online. This survey is an attempt to investigate the preparation that online language receive, and what they would suggest for further training.

This survey returned valuable information about the professional development needs of online language teachers. This PDF of a presentation will give you an idea of the results. There are sample replies to the open-ended questions asking about what these experienced online language teachers considered to be their top challenges, and also their top tips to teachers new to teaching online.
