What scaffolding does the partner provide in each case? Do they end up with an appropriate expression or correct structure?

AnnaLi has trouble finding the word for “安全 (safe)”. She initially uses “安静 (quiet)”, which shares the first character with “安全 (safe)”. Then she realizes it is not the correct word. She pauses and Jiulin provides scaffolding in the form of a recast with rising intonation, “安全 (safe)”. AnnaLi immediately uses the word and completes her utterances in the following turns. Her uptake of the word seems to confirm that it is the right word she was looking for and she appears to have learned it.
